    The Advent 7109b is a good laptop and great value for money. Good screen with brightness controls. However, I experienced poor battery life with it. I expanded the hard-drive to 250gb recently, and was impressed by how easy it was to do this.

    I have had this Advent 7109b laptop for around 2 years and it's been ok. I paid a basic price and got a basic laptop. The battery life has never been good and of late the battery has completely died, meaning I'm having to use the AC cable which is a nightmare if I need to print or take my laptop to ...

    Speed, size of the HDD really a great second computer for the home if you already have a desktop.
    Great computer for home computing but when you are out and about you will need something with a longer battery life
    Well recommend Advent 7109b

    This laptop is reliable and has excellent all-round features including Firewire/USB/DVD-DL writer/Recovery Tools/Sound/Video that will meet most user needs.     The Advent 7109b is a wonderful laptop and would recommend people to buy it and spares straight away so when they need it most they wont have to wait.

    A very good laptop, especially for students and Adults alike, not really suitable for business men, with a battery life of only 2.15 hours.
