    it is very light, low recoil, and it looks excellent Remington 1100 is a Great beginner gun.

    Had my Remington 1100 Classic Field 28 Gauge for about 15 yrs. I like the soft recoil & extreemley good handling. Plenty of reasonably priced spares are available if you know where to look, as I find dealers & gunsmiths charge an arm & a leg to fit them, but if you can change the wheel on a car you ...

    As a shooting instructor, this is my first choice for a new shooter.Students start breaking targets right away due to the lack of recoil and smooth handling make this a great gun.
    It is a lot of fun in the dove fields, and quail hunts.

    Bought the Remington Classic Field Semi Auto in 28 gauge. It's a really nice gun, that's a real pleasure to carry into the woods. It is very light, enabling someone to be able to carry it all day long. The cycling in this gun is extremely smooth, with no hang-ups at all. The only drawback I can see ...
