I went through 3 antennas at $15 to $19 each for my Motorola V60 before I did a little research and got smart. Take the back cover off the phone, remove the base of your broken off antenna. Take a piece of speaker wire from your home stereo approx. 5 inches long. Strip just the insulation off the ...

My husband and I purchased Motorola V60's because of the small selection that AT&T offered in their stores. We also selected these phones because we needed national coverage and at the time 3/19/04 the new GSM service would not offer the same vase coverage. We were stuck with basically one choice. ...

I love the durablity of the V60 's body. I am a cell phone abuser...........I destroyed two star-tacs in 6 months. Most other phones would have desintegrated under my wrath. I have been pounding on the same V60 for more than 2 years with barely a scratch. (what the hell is this thing made of?)

Maybe I'm a dumb ol' geek.. I have never had a problem with my Motorola V60's fixed antenna...Of course I have yet to throw it across the room or use it for a dodge ball..The phone has been good to me for over 2 years now....I could use another battery at this point as it will not retain its charge ...

The Motorola V60 phone has 2 antenna options, fixed (AT&T) and extendable (Verizon / Cingular). The extendable antenna is very fragile and breaks off easily, average life 1-6 months. Replacement cost is $15-20, parts are usually available locally. The fixed antenna won't break, the phone breaks i ...

I love the light weight and attractive design that the Motorola V60 mobile phone has. I love the smart button feature and when you learn to use it, it changes everything. The only bad thing is that the antenna broke off after a few months. I went and bought an antenna of the market with a little lig ...

The first generation Motorola V60's received incoming email and reproduced the sender's address, subject and so much of the text as the carrier forwarded. However, the new V60 color truncates the entire text field. Unless a sender uses a subject that conveys the entire message, it is NEVER receive ...

Unfortunately I bought two phones. Antenna breaks on both. I have an impression that this poor design was made on purpose. After you ruine one phone go buy another one. Shame on you motorolla designers.

If your sick of buying new antennas, or supergluing yours back on, or just need a temp.... Just stick a piece of thick speaker wire in there (about a inch long) leave the insulation on except the tip you put in,. It works great.
