Notwithstanding, it has proved to be an effective, reliable and durable unit, adquately serving the needs of a large and busy household, but when I replace ...

All the negative comments in this section are entirely in keeping with my own experiences of this product. Just in case anyone has missed the point, it is RUBBISH! I personally would never buy another Culligan product. I have recently bought a new Harvey Block Salt softener which, although it is a b ...

Had it not been for the guy who lives opposite me having brought a new discounted head mine would have been kicked out a long time ago as he gave me spare parts. I think I've had all the problems listed leaking fil ...

I keep seeing poor comments about this Waterside MC250 unit, but mine has worked fine for the last 8 years.
Early leak issue (only minor from valve top) was quickly sorted out by a very competent and polite Culligan engineer and had no problems since.
Problem apears to be that non-Ciulligan dealers ...

have been using Waterside MC250 for 10 years with Magaflow. Culligan took over Waterside and now seem to have a monopoly on parts and service. It has failed 3 times, most recently with continuous overflow. 2 years ago had dispute with Culligan as service technician tried to phone to bring appoin ...

Nightmare! Hence, seeking a different model to sit outside the kitchen w ...
