    I've bought a Braun MR 6550 M after using M880 for 5 years. I needed a new blender and a little bit more powerful. It crushes ice quickly with ice-crasser and a stick blender. It only misses 1 appliance - slicer, which I've seen is available for the more powerful European version 6550.

    We were happy with the performance of our Braun MR 6550 M Hand Blender until it broke two weeks after the guarantee ran out. We are now unable to replace the motor part alone without buying all the attachments as well.

    As a result we are rather disappointed.
