    Generally very pleased with the AEG 67670KFN hob once I got used to the controls, very sensitive controls which is unusual for an electric hob.

    This product works beautifully and has an immensely powerful induction setting. But it is let down by a very thin glass ceramic surface that cracks with the smallest of knocks. Ours lasted about 4 months before breaking. In my opinion the product is not fit for purpose and should be withdrawn.

    The hob's inductions zones are quite wonderful. I've always used gas hobs and have tended to avoid electric ones because of comparative lack of responsiveness. These act quickly enough to be able to turn down a boiling pan of liquid rapidly enough to stop it boiling over.
