I recently bought a refurbished netbook A1 condition from from acer direct. As per Acer Direct website A1 condition netbooks should not have any problems and the difference with new is only tardy packaging.
At the time of startup, netbook makes a lot of noise which seems to be a faulty fan. Customer ...

A great machine that would be one of the top laptops if only Acer woke up and realised that Vista needs at least 2gb of ram to perfom well and that their empowering software is just bloatware and not needed also why do all PC makers install Norton, it will kill a good machine by cutting at least 40% ...

Screen packed up after about 18 months. Internal Cabling must be poorly located on hinge or screen is just poor in my opinion. Some keyboard keys becomes unresponsive as other people have mentioned.

Looks good, was fantastic...for 20 months But I wish Id read the Acer Aspire reviews on here before buying.
I won't be buying an Acer again. I really looked after it and it broke. When I got it I was really pleased with everything about it but it doesn't seem built to last.
Not even 2 years old, it ...
