    Virgin customer service is shambolic. Contacting the right department takes forever. Last month my virgin home phone was out of order for 4 days. This month it is off again and I have to wait 7 days for an engineer. This is appalling service and I want to warn other potential customers.

    If you ever go with virgin media then choose the package and stick with it - forever or until there's something better somewhere else and then switch companies!!!     I have had the unfortunate experience of having to ring Virgin Media/NTL several times, due to telly breaking up and freezing (this took several calls and over 4 months to sort).

    If you buy this with the L Broadband package you save an extra £5 a month.
    Vigrin is cheaper than NTL although the TV and Broadband services are now worse.
