As user and owner of real rifles, I find that the Meteor really gives you that same feel of a .22 rifle which is brillliant for those who want to start shooting but cannot afford to do so regularly, like me when I was a teenager. Im sorta new to the air rifle scene meaning im only just buying my own gun i've fired the BSA meteor before and was highly impressed i would really recomend it but my question is how powerful is it because i cant seem to find out and sorry if i sound a bit annoying by appearing and not understanding ...

I think mine is a mark 3 or 4 - plastic sight bodies and end cover, wooden stock, no chequering. Its 30 years old this year!! I have a .22 meteor which was Xmas present in 1981. I recently dug it out of the loft to play with it again, but it needs a new spring and general refurb. The problem is I don't know where to find the parts. A local gunshop was totally unhelpful and uninterested in 'something that old'. Can anyone ...

Te BSA Meteor is really easy to maintain and strip. This is a great all round gun and I would recommend it to anyone.
