    Chicago is a very exciting, excellent movie with a superb plot. Totally recommended!

    Chicago wasn't really for me. I guess if that's your type of music though then you will enjoy the film. It's put together well and Gere, Zelwigger and Zeta-Jones all provide good performances and aren't too bad at the singing either. I'd say this was a good film for your mum.
