My buddies didn't like the sound nor the shape of this Callaway FT-i driver but who cares as long as I hit the fairways most of the time. this was a good driver to me till ibought it i lost almost 65 yards on my drivesit was a worthless buy and am realy very dissapointed with this Callaway FT-i driver in my words it completely pathetic

I either hit straight (1 in 3 games) or have a nice slice that goes onto the next fairway or further...I have hit about 300 drives with this club ( 2 rounds plus driving range) and probably 290 have been dead straight. Even with a bad shot I still get good distance from my Callaway FT-i and a straight drive with this club moreso than any other I have tried. Because I get good results even with my bad shots it gives confidence so therefore end up with fewer poor shots. Only bad point is the cost

Tried the 10.5 regular shaft (the white one !). Whilst it appeared to be consistent I reckoned I lost 30-40 yards on the drive compared to my regular Burner driver and the Tour Burner that I was also experimenting with. Over all a great club to have in your bag. I'm a little older now so I can't swing as hard. I use a Adams Driver ( insight ) and purchased the FT-1 13 HT at an cheap price. By far the straightest and most consistent driver i have hit in all my years of golf. I usually suffer from slice when i try too hard but with this driver i can push the ball as hard as i like without ending up on the next fairway to the right, almost every drive lands bang in the middle of the fair ...

I was looking for a new driver so set about my usual search of big names and latest equipment. Im a big fan of Callaway anyway so when I came across the Callaway FT-i I was excited just form looking at it. Its looks great, clean and new. Then I hit it. So long, so straight, so sweet.

This Callaway FT-i cured my slice by the second hole the very first time I used it.Sure , its a little less distance than my D-1 and G10 .However, 275 on the fairway is better than 300 in the rough or OOB !I have the 10.5 draw,slower swing is needed otherwise I MAY push left.
