I bought full UK RAC cover before christmas last year when I was due to do a long distance journey - just to be on the safe side. Had an rta just outside Colchester, thank goodness we were ok - also relieved that someone would come to get us.

What a brilliant experience! My annpoying Vauxhall Astra Twin Top roof would not close. The people I spoke to at RAC were brilliant - told me when to expect the patrolman, made sure I was safe and checked to see if they could help me fix the problem over the phone.

Horrendous! was left on a main road on my own and pregnant for five hours as the RAC control centre forgot to tell the patrolman where I was.
