The Dyson DC16 Root is a total waste of time. Both myself and father-in-law bought one at the same time. My Dyson DC16 Root 6 never loses suction power as is shuts down as soon as the battery sends a signal that it's getting weak. Handy little hoover for spot cleaning, furniture etc, pretty good with pet hair. Its portable and got good suction but the battery life is pathetic, mine didnt last long at all.

I would forget the Dyson DC16 Root 6 Bagless Handheld vacuum cleaner and go for something else, which though it might lack the flashy appearance, will in all probability be cheaper, more efficient and will fit neatly and discreetly near your electrical socket.
