The Vax Turboforce Extra 1850 seems a bit heavy so difficult to manouevre. Hose also appears too short to do a flight of stairs without moving the cleaner up with you. Once you have the cylinder out it takes me several attempts to get it back in place.

I believe the Vax Turboforce Extra 1850 is a good value for money and overall does a good job in a home with a pet. I can forget the minor bad points, as the pick up of this vacuum cleaner is great.

The 'Review Ratings' miss one serious point - EFFECTIVENESS - this is main reason why I bought this machine. Having two mucky & moulting Labradors has overwhelmed every other make or type of vacuum cleaner - however at £120 from B&Q the Vax Turboforce is relatively inexpensive and very effect ...

In the shop the Vax Turboforce Extra 1850 vacuum cleaner was demonstrated on a very short piled carpet, and on the lowest setting it glided over the floor and sucked up all the stuff they put down nicely, but at home in the real world, where carpet pile differs, stairs and laminate flooring lives, t ...
