Once you have owned a Nissan Pulsar GTiR HKS Edition you will understand why you should not buy a sports car over 1 of these. most of your sports cars cannot even compete with a GTiR especially with 400bhp+

I bought a last of the line 2001 HKS Edition GTI-R with optional "Greddy" tuning package. Standard power for these cars is around 220bhp, but mine rolled out of the factory with 400bhp on standard boost. To cope with the extra power I asked Nissan to fit a Nissan Skyline GT-R gearbox, which also mea ...

My Pulsar had everything done to it: lightened balanced bottom end, HKS piston, cams, uprated brakes, Suspension 17 wheels, Nismo Dog Box and Nismo rear diffuser. I was running 380bhp (no joke) I raced my mate's Lamborghini and had him up to 100mph (and I mean off the line) I was away and at 103 wh ...

Fast as factory standard car! 0-60, 5.5sec
Once you break the 5second 0-60 barrier (which is easy with slight tuning) expect to break something expensive.
Once an engine rebuild has been done expect 50,000+ miles of fun. I'd advise staying close to standard performance.

I have never had a Nissan Pulsar GTiR HKS Edition but I've been in quite a few, and they're pretty quick for a small car.
But if you treat this car with respect, it will munch any car on the road, well except it's father(Skyline GTR a.k.a the Godzilla) because the GTiR are well known as baby Godzi ...

I like the pulsar, I had one for a year, handled like dump, was pretty quick, then I grew up. If your over 19, trust me, you look silly driving it. If you're 17-19, you look like the man. if you are over 19.... not good! I'm 21 now, I've bought a GTO.....
