    If you want that 60's chime, like the Byrds and The Beatles, there is nothing, at any price, that will compare. Harrision used a 360/12 with toasters, but that model comes with hi-gains, and the sound is just not there. Set it up right and it will never let you down. Recording or live play, it's 100 ...

    I bought a Rickenbacker 660-12 Maple in 2000 and I still have it. June 7, 2008.
    Points of interest: It is very small and light in weight, somewhat head-heavy. Fingerboard is thin and frets are small. The finish and hardware have held up well under moderate use. Requires fussy DIY care to set up, onc ...
