I bought Saracen Amplitude 3 (2008) this spring for over 500 dollars. I really enjoy that bicycle except it's brakes. I'm pretty not bad in dirt jumping (already learned some basic tricks) so I can deside what is good for me.
That is really good bike, I recommend it for beginers in dj.

i have this Saracen Amplitude bike and it is awesome.
the handlebars easily move out of place with the wheel though.
i managed to get it for £250. i just love it.

i think the Saracen Amplitude bike is pretty good because i like the thickness of the tyres and everythink and i think the bike is great but the only thing i would change is the seat post and the seat

Well i have a Saracen Amplutude and it is great I've been droping off all sorts , and jumps its brilliand :D love it good price. The forks that come with it were bad but with a set of marazzoki drop of forks it does the job and the rims crank brakes were also bad but I have replaced them all. Good ...

The Saracen Amplittude is a very good bike for dirt jumping but quite tiring when you go on a long bike ride as the thick tyres i have on my bike add more resistance therefore you lose some power. You do regain some of it with the hard tail of the bike and who needs suspension on the back if like me ...

I have a saracen instinct 3 but with single speed,
i have put dmr peddles,bars,grips,single speed kit,seat, new crank and dmr moto digger tyres.
also serviced many of times. all together a brilliant smooth bike but i dont know what it is like without customisation sorry haha

I would recommend this bike over any other jump bike its awesome. Everything about the Saracen Amplitude is brilliant, it really is the best bike ever built in my opinion i would just change the handle bars and the grips but other than that a pretty good bike!

This Saracen Amplitude has great V-Brakes and Quite Light Bike, Bought this quite a while ago and is holding up really well. I would definitely recommend this bike for Dirt Jumping :)

The amplitude is a great beginers jump bike and cheap aswell, mine was £180 new!
it isnt all top parts on it but theres no difference between the branded parts.
just stick a set of marzocchis on, take the front brake off and run it on a magura an you have a perfect jump bike.
