I purchased an iPod nano in November 2007, sent it in for repair in December and January 5 & 15. This last time it was returned to me with missing parts and when I called to talk with them they stated it was not their fault and refused to correct their mess. I now have over $400 into this useless ...

Over-rated. Apple has great sales department and advertising. Unstable machine, not good service. Case scratches too easily even when kept protected.

When it was working I could not really complain. The only annoying thing was that I had a lot of hassle with their software and some songs were louder then the other so I have to keep changing the volume, that was very inconvenient when I was on the move. When the battery died and Apple told me on t ...

I have to admit when the iPod came out I was a critic due to the price and fragility of the devices. But time has proved a great healer as the technology has improved and there is a great choice of second hand products on the worlds favorite online auction site e-something-or-other :-).

    I was tu ...

Purchased an Apple iPod about 18 months ago with accessories for around $500. First year things went somewhat smooth. However, shortly after warranty had expired, hard drive failed and battery life was non-existent. Attempted to have 'Genius Bar' at Towson store troubleshoot problems...however, w/ ...

If you are a committed long-term traveller, are a victim of unreliable PC's or have not yet been brainwashed into having a permanent PC of your own, then iPod's are not for you.

Unlike other MP3 devices, the iPod only recognises software downloaded onto the original source PC. So, if your PC dies, ...

I have had a couple of Apple iPod's for about 18 months or so, and I would not be without one. Once you have spent the time loading your CD's into iTunes, they are very easy to update, and great to use.

The only bad point is the battery, which does not last a particularly long time, but hey-ho. ...

The Apple iPod MP3 player has a horrible warranty standard.
It scratches easily, it keeps breaking down, and there is no support.

I sent my first Apple iPod back twice. Finally, the 2nd time they realized that their product was in fact defective and sent me iPod #2.
iPod #2 - After three attempts at transferring songs from iTunes, it finally seemed to be working. Wrong! It transferred 4 songs out of 6500.
    Numerous calls to Ap ...
