Drain on battery when not in use. Battery only lasts around 15 minutes when in use. Fitted a new battery but still the same. Now it can take up to ten minutes to find satellites, even after updating via website. Loses satellites when driving. Would not buy another TomTom.

I've had the Tom Tom One Europe now for a couple of years, and it has simply been a lifesaver! I use it quite regularly and it gets me from A to B 99% of the time without any problems. You'll always come across new roads that the Tom Tom doesn't recognise, but you can't help that as new roads are ...

I bought my Tom Tom in a hurry because I found out that my Sony sat nav didn't cover Spain, despite being a 'Europe' model. I chose the 'One Europe' because it was the cheapest model I could find from a well known brand that covered Spain.Using it has been a pleasent surprise. It's nice and small, ...

I have owned the TomTom WE for two weeks so at this point cant comment on durability. But so far its been fantasic and navigated me to locations that would have taken me ages to find. I am very much into technology (ICT Professional) and this bit of kit has been the most impressive purchase ever.

Ok but my phone is probably beter and cheaper. The holder falls off your screen, and it struggles to find a GPS signal meaning on many occasions I have missed a crucial turn off or driven dangerously trying to pick it up off the floor! Also loses a charge quickly and only comes with an in car charge ...

Changes it's preferences all by itself e.g sound just goes off - bit tricky if it's the speed camera alerts - which you then miss.
Controls not logical. Not very accurate, normally 200 to 300 metres out.
Cradle falls off the windscreen with monotonous regularity.
Won't find some obvious POIs e.g lon ...

Very clever but not very useful. Very difficult to use the map when looking at the route and that's important as it is often easy to enter the correct destination. Map download doesn't work (as discussed on a lot of the forums) so my new device doesn't have some roads that have been built for over t ...

If you already have the v6 european maps for Western Europe DO NOT purchase v7 - it is a retrogarde step. Some roads and road layouts that were correct on the old map seem to have changed to the layouts that were in operation in 2005 and the new roads that opened very late in 2006 are not actually o ...
