Panasonic NV-GS180 is the best camcorder for all age group. Can be used as still camera in bright light. Great Video, Good colour compared others in this price range, Good sound capturing, 2.3mp still capturing, SD card slot, good display.

Nearly everything about the Panasonic NV-GS180 is outstanding bang for your buck. Also the prices in 2008 if camera available are outstanding for quality video.

Overall it is a lightweight and easy to use camera. Any age group will have no problem using it. The quality of the playback is excellent and the sound is good too. Don't be put off because it uses tapes, transferring it on to DVD is simple and you don't loose any sound or picture quality.
