So far the washer part has been ok but the dryer cycle is rubbish,it leaves garments extensively creased and makes ironing hard work even after 3 to 4 times ironing the same garment its still creased.I'll never purchase a hotpoint product ever again.I wish i'd kept my Zannusi washer and seperate dry ...

This washer/dryer machine was part of an integrated kitchen in a new Bovis home bought less than 3 years ago.

Have I been lucky and had almost 3 years use out of it? I am having someone come and look at it tomorrow.... is it worth repairing??

DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE! Comfortably the worst appliance I've ever brought. Thirteen break down calls and counting. Long gaps to get an engineer out - usually a couple of weeks. As a result I've owned this machine for ten months and in total I've not had the use of it for around four of those. ...

Hotpoint BWD129 broke after 11 months. 4 months on and I still dont hare the use of it. First the plastic bunber bars fell off tearing clothes, then the pump jammed causing kitchen flood, then the electronics blew the house mains after boiling my clothes, kitchen flooded a sencond time, blah blah ...

We bought a BWD129 about 4 years ago - we also bought an extended warranty from the retailer. I wish we hadn't bought the extended warranty as it would have been cheaper and far less hassle to throw this noisy and break down prone machine away rather than have the hassle of dealing with the customer ...
