    Demi Sec champers fills just 2% of the Champagne market, and at a recent tasting by top Sommeliers, only 9 versions were available. It used to be the sought after type in France a century ago.     I bought Merciet Demi Sec Champagne for our wedding as my husband finds anything Brut too dry for him and once we tried this we knew it would be suitable for all palates, and would suit more people. I do know a lot of people who do not actually like champagne.
