Staff very safety concious before take off. Very pleasant staff and nothing was a problem. Got 2 meals going and returning and very good. A very imformative flight. Again very safety conscious before landing also.

Holiday was cut short by a day due an 8 hour delay at Gatwick, during which we were provided with minimal information and a pitiful £10 refreshment voucher which could barely cover one meal, let alone two. The customer service was appaling. A smoking break was permitted in the airport however ...

The Monarch flight from Gatwick to Male was really bad, longer than it should have been with an hour delay. The plane was old, and was cramped. Both flights were very punctual - we even left Heraklion 30 minutes early on the way home (never known this to happen before!) Cabin crew wereproffesional and polite. Cramped and no leg room when flying with Monarch. hot on the plane coming home had to have my hand fan on all the way home, very uncomfortable...
Service was good polite cabin crew.

RE Monarch: This was a while ago but the 16 hr delay going out to Turkey meant the hol was actually only 5 nights instead of a week. No one kept us informed and eventually they pulled us to a hotel in manchester for a couple of hrs.We where delerious with tiredness.
