There is really no serious complaint I can make about this machine. You can get better, fancier machines for sure, but you'd be paying a couple of hundred pounds more for them. This one wins hands down for value for money.

Since my original review I have had to have my machine replaced as the machine was just not performing. I have to say Morphy Richards after sales service was excellent they replaced the machine without any problems at all. I have had the new machine for quite some number of months and although it is ...

A standard espresso size is 2.5 ounces for a double shot so the size is not an issue as far as I am concerned i.e. it doesn't take mugs because it is not designed to. The Roma is an espresso machine. In saying that though the shot should take between 24 and 28 seconds to pour and should come out lik ...

Was given this Morphy Richards 47505 Roma coffee machine as a present, happily used it for two years or so. Then the rubber seal in the filter housing developed a leak. Spare parts dealers do not carry that. Email request to Morphy Richards customer service went unanswered for a week, then I got a r ...

I read all the reviews before settling on the Morphy Richards 47505 Roma Coffee machine. I only have one cup of coffee a day, so it has to be a really good one. I like latte and cappuccino, so I did my homework and found you need an excellent espresso base for these coffees. I wanted a machine with ...

I bought this Morphy Richards 47505 Roma espresso coffee maker in November 2003. It is a good looking machine and produces some excellent coffee, and has a two year guarantee.
Unfortunately, The pump is not the most resilient.
I am currently (January 2005) using my third replacement machine and ...

We bought a Morphy Richards 47505 Roma on the basis of reviews on this site, but were hesitant after reading the first review (stating coffee not hot enough). We rate ourselves as quite fussy and have found no problem with taste or temperature. Only had it 1 week and would not be without it.

I switched to the Morphy Richards 47505 Roma after happily using a Morphy Richards filter espresso maker. Big mistake. The largest quantity of coffee that the Roma can make at one go is 2 espresso cups - or one normal coffee mug. And look at the size of the machine? Then the coffee needs microwav ...

Like one of the previous reviewers, I bought Morphy Richards Coffee & Espresso Machine on the strength of earlier reviews here. I love a good espresso and my daughters love cappucino and, after having been less than impressed with a traditional stove top coffee maker, I opted for the MR 47505 Roma. ...
