Alicia Keys, The Diary Of is one of the best albums in recent years with it being a bookmark for how a soul album should sound.

Alicia Keys, "The Diary Of" is a CD from the superb classically trained singer, Alicia Keys, who puts her talent out there for all to see. Alicia is a credit to the R'n'B world, with the voice and the writing, this CD is a wonderful debut album.

In her sophomore effort, Alicia Keys has definitely shown she has matured from her debut. She combines various music influences and accelerates her song-writing skills, at the same time stretching her vocal abilities to give her heart and soul into "The Diary Of".
