I am very pleased with my Pure Evoke 2. I have owned it for between 1 and a half to 2 years. I couldn't decide for a while whether to get the Pure Evoke 1 or this one. I went out and got the Roberts RD3 but I took it straight back, I liked the style of the radio but it sounded really muddy? and the bass and overall sound distorted if pushed over half way which was no use. The Evoke-2 is a different matter.

Just bought my Pure Evoke 2 DAB Digital Radio from Q.E.D. £129.99.
I must say this is not a bad radio, I first tried a Goodmans DSR 80 from Q.V.C.
But quite frankly the audio on that, on D.A.B. sounded hollow and muffled . This set was returned right away.

Overall I have to say that I am very happy with my Pure Evoke 2. I had considered buying an Evoke 1 but the thing that put me off was they are only mains powered and I wanted a portable radio that was truly portable so I decided to wait for the Evoke 2.
