Overall very good kit. For the amount of money you won't get anything else close to a Mapex M Series.

High quality of sound from the Mapex M Series, I like the tone very much. The colour suits the kit very well and I do like its chrome fastenings. Out of date compared to drums in 2008. Overall a very nice set of kit, a pleasure to play

I love the mapex kit, I've had it for nearly a year now and am still loving it to bits! With me playing repertoire varying from paul simon (steve gadd) to tenacious d ...

I have recorded with the Mapex M series and in the past i have been used to the sound of all ...

The Mapex M Series kit is used at least once every week for the past 18 months for youth music project, which means it is assembled and dis-assembled every time it is used, (so not permanently set up) and it had been transported to several gigs(Rock/Pop performances and for rhythm section of Jazz/Sw ...

The Mapex M Series kit makes me want to practice all the time. The quality is awesome. However bit tricky set up at first but then becomes really simple but overall I think it is a great buy excellent.

I have had my Mapex M Series drum kit for a while, and I like it. It's good! I've been playing for 6 years, and I still haven't put much of the set to its full potential. I never broke any heads on it and I play loud. It is sturdy and strong, and it's easy to assemble, so it wold be good for interme ...
