I bought a set of DW Pacific PDP drums used for $400 bucks. You won't find drums that sound this good anywhere for that kind of money. I have two other kits that I paid quite a bit more money for, that I don't like to play as much as these.

The toms and the snare sound amazing, the kit looks great. I have an x7 series kit and it is amazing! Great drums - great for beginners to pro's

Good sound in general, good look too! I have a CX series in white oyster, and it looks nice on stage. I have used this same kit ina recording studio last Saturday, and the engineer was crazy about it! I like the sound of the Bass drum and snare drums. It reminds me of old rogers drumset. The DW Pacific PDP is a joy to have. Excellent sound. Look amazing with their big chunky tension bolts and frame.

I really love the sound of the SW Pacific PDP drum kit.
This drum kit looks good too. Unfortunately, the screws come loose after about 4 - 5 months.
I would recommend it to anyone, but mostly intermediate and advanced players.
