    I have a '55' registered VW Transporter T5. It is fairly good looking, but one massive problem with it is that it doesnt hold half as much as it should.     The Volkswagen Transporter 85PS 1.9TDI is comfy and looks good for a van. It's easy for long drives. The firm seat is great for my back ,it's my fourth transporter starting form the 1979 model.     At 45k miles the fly wheel came off and went through the engine sump, destroying the clutch in the process. The vw dealership had to replace the starter motor (as they killed it trying to find the fault), the sump, the fly wheel and the clutch. (all fixed under warranty). This is an increasing commo ...
