Just moved to ecar insurance, and now wish I had not (should have read the reviews) Their policy quotes are much cheaper and in return for this you receive a low budget service with high risks and unfair penalties attached. No Problems for first year - but then again no claims!
Windscreen claim second year - over two years on and still not sorted! they don't respond to any emails, and costs £1 per minute to call. avoid!

I also wish I had read this site before signing up wth eCar. I needed to drive my mum's car very soon after taking out the policy and it did not cover me to do so, so I cancelled it within the 'cooling off' period and got fully comprehensive with another company. It is easy to follow the cheapest but DONT. I would rather sell my own bodily parts than go with these. Big prob, they are internet only and they ARE internet only. This is the worst insurance company possilbe . they never take the money out on the same date and have the worst customer service i ahve ever come accross.
