    We did initially like the new slim design. We purchased a new Brita Filter MAXTRA. We have now tried 3 boxes of filters but we are still getting a black sediment in the bottom of the jug. We have re-filled dozens of times but problem still same.

    This is not an electrical appliance. We drink a lot of water, since I am a singer and my hubby needs to keep the kidneystones at bay.     I used to drink bottled water until I realised it was costing me a fortune and doing my back in, bringing the stuff home. A Brita filter is far cheaper and is better for the environment
