    Sharm airport is a nightmare, slow unorginized baggage collection and immigration. Take US $ or UK £ to tip small but often, as these currencies are preferred to Egyptian £. It would surprise you how much of a difference in service a $1 tip each day makes to the pool attendant, or to a w ...

    I stayed at the Sierra hotel in Sharm which is a part of the savoy hotel albeit one star rating lower and further from the beach
