    Desperate.

    Totaly unhelpful when I had a problem with my car outside my home - they basically refused to help because it was a tricky job, that they claimed they wouldnt be able to solve. Even though the membership I have with them is such that they clearly should help, albeit with an excess.

    This is the worst call out company. They never pay up and let you jump through hoops before they do pay out. If anyone is still stugling to get money out of them send them a money claim at https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk this is the only time they respond.

    I had to use first call twice during my policy. Once in Wales my car would not start, which turned out to be a problem with the alternator. The man they sent out arrived fairly quickly (about half an hour) and fixed me up fine.

    I would strongly urge anybody considering using this company for European breakdown cover to spend a little time researching them on the various internet review sites.     I have now been a member of first call gb for several years.
    In the past i have had 3 breakdowns with problems with my car...

    First Call are TERRIBLE. Even though I was a lone female, they left me stranded on a motorway for THREE HOURS. I would never use them again. I don't think they have a very big network of people to pick you up so that's why you end up waiting for hours on end.

    Completely useless. First Call GB Ltd said that their average wait time was 40 mins - 2 hours later still no sign.
