    I've had my VAX VS 193S for 2 years with no maintenance problems at all. I have replaced the filter once. We have a dog and can half fill the container on one session of vacuuming.     It is an awkward machine to manoeuvre. Falls over very easily when using the hose. Using the hose is a bit of a palaver too having to detach from one to the other. Very brittle plastic, the back handle broke off then the wheels snapped off. It has definately put me off buying another VAX. (Although ...
