    I also have this model with the diamond and h in it but mine fires .22 rounds i bought it from an army store in my home town wanted something to just target shoot with in the garden but seems to be a good cheap rifle will see if i can find the book if you like

    My shanghai "model 62" is about 35 years old, has been oiled 5 times, has never been cleaned, has been stashed away in a damp shed and a dusty attic but it never broke down and I still use it weekly with much pleasure. for me it is the perfect vermin killer and backyard plinker.

    I purchased this rifle for $25US, and knew before hand that I would be tearing it down and cleaning it up.     My Shanghai B2 shoots so well I installed a weaver base in the bottom of the stock and added a $20 laser. Add this to the; $20 for the gun, $5 for paint, $25 for the red dot, and for less than $75 I have a fun, accurate, cheap to shoot, wonderful backyard weapon. I have two bullet traps in my yard. ...

    The Shanghai B2 is the typical cheap Chinese break-barrel sold frequently in the $20-$25 range (although sometimes for far more). At that, it's a so-so bargain... poor machining, sights that may or may not be of any use, velocity anywhere from 500-650fps. A good one can give some amount of reasonabl ...
