The Toyota MR2 Mk2 is an absolutly Fantastic Little sports car, espesially for £1000 (just be ready for petrol bills).

Owned Toyota MR2 Mk2 1993 turbo for 10 years new handbrake cable, discs and pads all round at 100,000 miles payed £8000 10 years ago, would i sell if offerd £3000 no way

i brought my Toyota MR2 Mk2 , two years ago,, it may only be the single cam 2.0 model, but she quick, fun and cheap.. paid £400.00 for it and only had to part with a 1a for new caliper.. bargain two no problem m.o.ts. and a summer of roof out fun ahead. cant get two bag of compost in boot !!! ...

I have wanted a Toyota MR2 since i was a child and now i have one and absolutely love it. I have had a few problems with mine but i dont mind tinkering and playing to make her purr because ..she is worth the little extra!

It is simply insane to drive. At the traffic lights, 4000rpm, light turns green, drop the clutch and bam!!! You're literally pinned into your seat and you're just flying. It is just awesome!

Heavy duty billsteins, coupled with Pirelli PZero Assimetricos allow me to eat everything in the corners, Minis, 05-06 Corvettes, 98 BMW M3, 04 Mercedes E55 AMG, and a 02 Porsche 911 Carrera. If you want a cheap, reliable, attractive, good handling, practical 2 seat sports car, then buy a SW20 MR2! Only not mine, as I still can't bring myself to sell it!
