    Hi there!
    I booked a car through ACE on the website and was told in a reply that the car would be provided by County Car Rental.
    I got very worried about this when i read all the reviews here and considered cancelling my reservation - but I couldn't find a cheaper one (or one with a good review!!).

    Made an online reservation with ACE Rental Car for a reasonable price (for Dublin anyway!). County Rental Car is there agent in Dublin. Got to the airport and arrived at the desk and was told that the OPTIONAL insurance was not optional! Told that my credit card insurance did not cover Ireland. ...

    County Car Rental have hidden costs and suddenly you have the surprise. If you unlucky they blame you for damages at the car you never did and charge you for this.

    The entire experience was horrible. Upon arrival County Car Rental froze 900 euros in my bank account in case they would have to cover cost of damage.     Car was fine, no trouble with pickup and County Car Rental people were courteous, but WATCH OUT! There is no "unlimited mileage" -- even if you pay extra for a second driver!     I have rented a car with County Rental that I have ordered via internet booking. They've sent me email quote with price and all conditions.
