At first, I doubted Cortech. I thought it was a marketing scam. How can the hub inside make wheels go faster? Shouldn't the hub be around the bearings, not between them? How can a hub, between the bearings, although it goes deep into the wheel (about half way) make them better? does anyone care? The ...

I thought the Cortech were nice for $20 (15 USD) but, it turned out, that that was the price for EACH SINGLE WHEEL. I've had my Cortech Disc wheels for a while now. They're mid range in the hardness department - 98a, but feel softer due to the disc technology. Basically, it's a dual hardness - 'hub' (inside) is softer, while 'tire' (outside) is harder. This equals less wear on the wheel, with a smooooth ride.
