My previous Volkswagen Golf was the Mk.IV GTi pd 130. I think had a much more flexible engine to the Mk.V GTi 2.0 litre, but the Mk.V road-holding is superb, along with more reassuring brakes, and I also like the body styling, but parts of the roof and side door panels flex inwards when hand washed! ...
