Good Points

Loads of features like WAP, voice notes, voice dial


Bad Points

All the features are poorly implemented and generally c**p.


General Comments

This phone is stupid.
If you put the key lock on and press any key, it still makes a tone and the lights come on, so... when the phone is in your pocket and they keys are being pressed, the phone lights up and makes a sound, resulting in a battery that is dead by the end of the day.
The voicenotes are one good feature but even that has been messed up by our friends at Motorola. You can record conversations or notes upto three minutes, but you can delete only the whole lot and not individual notes. Stupid!
The rest is the same as the other reviews... frustrating menus, useless, etc...
Good point... tri-band. that's it.

    I too wasn't very happy with the timeport.... But it still gave me 2 years of good, solid reliable service. It was robust and at the time of purchase, had all the mod cons, except for handsfree speech; the reason for changing. I now have an ME45 - big mistake. I have sacrificed an adequete functioning phone for an overall, average compromise with Flexi-Memory.
    The point is, though, the keylock on Timeport is just that which I miss on the ME45. When I press AnyKey, there are no lights to swon me (in the dark) what I have to press to unlock. I have to know (in the dark) where the # and ok are. Not much fun if you're nor familiar or a 'guest' user.
    Be happy with what you have; the grass is not always greener.... etc.... I actually envy you and miss the TP.
