Good Points
I firstly bought the XL1 and needed a secondary camera, many in the industry recommended the Sony VX 1000 but i stuck to what I loved and that was the canon. I must admit i love the little Xm over the XL even thought the XL has more audio capabilitys. i wont look back

Bad Points
No real bad points,...the fact that theres only one audio channel is a small downer

I firstly bought the Canon XL1 and needed a secondary camera. Many in the industry recommended the Sony VX 1000 but i stuck to what I loved and that was the Canon. I must admit i love the little Canon XM digital camera more than the XL, even though the XL has more audio capabilities. I won't look back. Overrall an excellent package.
