Plays VCD's, CDR's, CDRW's and is easily made 'Multi-region'. DTS Dolby and the 3 year guarantee is a bonus as well.
Bad Points
Who the Hell are Schneider? Karaoke feature may lead to embarassing drunken moments.
General Comments
I was looking for a cheap player as a present that would play anything I threw at it and with the Schneider DVD 856 I have found it. The picture was spot on and the audio damn good as well. I'm not one of these who connects 40 speakers to a DVD player, I want a machine that will play discs on my TV, I'm not bothered if it doesn't make the tea and mow the lawn, I have a girlfriend for that.
Summary, 99 quid for a very good machine, looks pretty nice too.
