A very positive break barrel rifle, very accurate (with decent scopes) nicely balanced. a pleasure to own. would be great de-restricted.

A little heavy but big men don't cry?
General Comments
I loath to buy a pneumatic or multi-shot because of the extra baggage. This Weihrauch HW98 is a pleasing air rifle to own. Who hunts in the african veld with a semi automatic apart from the poachers? This is a good rifle if you believe in break necks.

Paul - yours is the only review on the HW98. I hate to cast aspersions, but "review" is stretching the meaning of the word a little. You've had at least another month with the gun, can't you be a bit more specific? You haven't told us much you know and I'm sure you could give us some useful information.
