Good Points
1) Lots and lots of features: voicedailing (20 numbers), infra-red port, up to 7 different profiles,vibra-alert, quick-access buttons, WAP, calendar, appointment organiser, voicememo, calculator, currency convertor, VIP-phonebook, 4 games, picture messaging, ring tone composer,Li-ion,... and lots of other features I forgot to mention
2) Size: very small and light (only 99gr), big screen with very high resolution, and INTERNAL aerial
3) Battery life is excellent
Bad Points
1) Reception - due it's internal aerial- is not as good as my old Motorola
2) The raised screen can be easily scratched if you are very rude with it.
3) Backlight is a bit weak,
but these are only VERY MINOR problems and do not weigh against the advantages you have with this with machine.
General Comments
I had a Motorola cd 930 but there was a problem with the battery and I could no longer live with it, so I was looking for a replacement. I went to a few shops and told them what I needed. I wanted to spent around 120 pounds and they suggested the Nokia 3310 and the Siemens C35 and M35. But while I was listening to the shopkeeper I saw the Siemens and I said "That's what I want if had the money for it" but I hadn't. He told me that this Siemens was an excellent little machine, but I couldn't afford it. So after reading a few reviews I decided to go for the Nokia 3310 OR the Siemens M35I, BUT THEN my uncle sold his SIEMENS S35i and bought a SIEMENS SL45. And of course...
I'm very happy with my SIEMENS, it's an excellent little machine and has a good professional approach to mobiles, not such an TOY approach like NOKIA. I think that I would regret it if I had gone for the Nokia; it's contains more useless sh*t than really usefull features (screensavers??? chat??? what are these doing on a mobile?). And it's still very heavy (133gr), compared to today's standards. (My 3-year old Motorola weighs "only" 145gr).
This little phone contains all advantages of Nokia 6210, 7110, 8210 in 1 little, excellent phone.
I conclude: SIEMENS makes excellent phones, even the cheaper C35 and M35 and if your thinking of buying a Nokia 6210, 7110 or 8210, think twice and go for a SIEMENS S35i! You won't regret it.

How is your battery now ? I know too many people with C35s who have problems with the battery after about 6 months
