Holds well on cornering.
Exploding drivers door window at 70mph not funny (window badly adjusted from factory - proving this will be the difficult part).
Gear stick cable breaking off gear box rendering car non-operational - not funny either when entering motorway and changing from 4th. to 5th.
Faulty airbags from new.
Interior light faulty (doesn't always switch off automatically - one flat battery is one too many).
Tail door almost impossible to close sometimes - first dent appearing already.
Bonnet air duct filters dissolve on heavy rain fall.
Noisey/Grindy stearing wheel column on turning steering wheel.
Front wheel arch trim fell off first day.
Drivers seat broke stuck in one position
In April 2002 car spent 23 days out of the 30 being repaired
Due to my so many bad experiences over the last 5 months with my BMW Mini One, I just can't help wondering what other skeletons there are waiting in the cupboard? The car is on a renting scheme and I will be returning it next month. My advice to anyone from now on will be to wait a year before buying one so as to give BMW time to get all the problems (some life threatening and that is no joke) resolved.
