Good Points

good price, crisp images.


Bad Points

poor geometry, images are clear only in the centre, focusing problems in corners, when it is off it has a sound like it is still working...


General Comments

i have had this LG Flatron 775FT 17" monitor for 2 months and i am completely disappointed with LG. Before this one i use, i returned the same model for once. It has a sound problem. When it is off it has a sound like it is still working, like it is on. Then i changed it with this one i use now and it has that sound too. I think all flatron's have this sound. This really sucks.
It's 4 corners are blurry. Only the center of the screen is perfectly clear. Right side and left sides are all a little blurry and this shadow mask stuff really sucks. On low contrast and brightness shadow masks appear on the screen (only center is clear) and effects images not to seen sharp and the screen glass have a dirt in the inner surface. It can't be cleaned out. My previous 775ft has it too but very little. By the way, these are Indonesian made Lg's.
I am gonna buy an aperture grill monitor. Stupid two lines are better than corner focus issues i think...
