I purchased the FM3A about 3 months ago, and I have had several MF bodies in the past, but this camera has a really good "feeling" to it. I have to say it has rarely left my side. I love the sturdiness, the compatability, and the galvanizer metering in the viewfinder that pairs up with the shutter speed. Wonderful blend of 80% manual/20% electronic that allows a little luxury when you need it, but mostly its is a solid, finely engineered MF body. I am only concerned that Nikon won't offer any more neat looking chrome finish lenses which are a pleasure to look at. But that is just an aesthetic issue. I love this Nikon! BUY IT!!!
None. It is pricey, but if you go to B&H and buy grey market, it is reasonable.
Nikon FM3a 35mm SLR camera.
Can't say anymore than what I have said in the strong points. It gives you a feeling of power and independence from batteries in that in cannot manage 1/4000 shutter speed completely mechanically.
Again, BUY THIS CAMERA!!
