funny how your nova is neither a 2 litre or a turbo! your car is a 1.6 normally aspirated car and i have killed MANY in my time, as if anyone would belive you, no wonder you have no respect. at least tell the truth. mind you 0 to 60 in over 9 seconds (just i admit) is not very fast. You really are a boy racer, NOT!

come on... nova's look good. on average the perfomance is good, and they look a hell of a lot better than some punto

Nova's are certainly not the best car in the world but you cant go wrong with one for your first car. Nova's have alot better road holding than naff punto's which by the way look total crud. i used to own a f-reg 1.3sr and standard it used to do 0-62 in 8.9secs i had it at 124mph with another 1,000rpm to go. 2.0 16v nova's do 0-60 in about 5.5secs and thats quick enough for most people, especialy for beating Punto's. thats about all i have to say on the matter just dont say anything bad about nova's they were good cars in their time and they are still fast in comparision to new cars of the same size (engine and mass)

I've got a Toyota Corolla Gti twin cam 16V and which has great power, i've left enuff Nova's for DUST on the motorway, traffic lights you name it....122MPH top speed on a NOVA (HAHA) 133 outta my Corolla !!

My mate had a 13sr with a back box and a twin choke webber and raced a punto gt and was all over his back end. He spoke to him after and the punto driver was choked!! When he found out it was only a 13

The 2.0 ltr turbo is an engine conversion!!! anyway vauxhalls are top cars

Just a few words. If nova's are not that great then why has everyone got or owned one in the past. I'm on my third now which is a J-plate, red GSi and right now in the middle of a 2L 16v conversion. Their great cars for blastin about, cheap parts from main dealers and were made by the best manufacturer in the world. Toyota corrollas should be renamed toyota corrosions. I only see old women in them...

ok i liked the punto gt until i drove 1 for a newish car it is a bit poor ive had 2 novas a i.2 that was my first car and i loved it i left it standard just got the ride better then i got a gsi thinking its only 400cc more its not going to be fast how wrong i was with a few cheep engine mods it can keep up with puntos easy yes its not gona win any beauty contests the ride is poor a bit cramped but there cheep to keep going and they do handle well as for toyotas

i have owened lots of quick cars ie ( 2 RS TURBOS) ,SAPHIRE COSWORTH , RENAULT 21 TURBO ,2.8 TURBO CAPRI i had to get rid of my turbo when my wife passed her driving test and found out insurance was too high, what was the solution to my problem buy her a nova gsi not only is it a nippy little car it handles great and i love it compare it to a punto and it wins hands down and at least it is not italian junk lets see how many puntos are around in 10-15 years .
