LIGHT WEIGHT. EXCELLENT RECEIVER SENSITIVITY. BROWSER IS A CUT ABOVE. I AM VERY PLEASED TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PURCHASE THIS PHONE AT CIRCUIT CITY FOR $24.99 AFTER REBATES. GOOD PRICE. THIS PHONE IS, IN MY OPINION, SUPERIOR TO THE MOTOROLA V60 BUT I DO WISH BOTH OF THEM HAD OUTSIDE DISPLAYS. I TRIED ONE OF THE LG PHONES WITH SPRINT AND IT WAS TERRIBLE.
Bad Points
I AM NOT TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH THE DICTIONARY, BOTH AS TO IT'S LIMITED AVAILABLE VOCABULARY IN THE T9 MODE AND ALSO THAT IT LACKS THE CAPABILITY FROM WHAT I CAN TELL TO AUTOMATICALLY STORE NEWLY CREATED WORDS INTO THE DICTIONARY. HAD NOKIA 71OO SERIES PHONE BEFORE THIS AND THE DICTIONARY WAS QUITE IMPRESSIVE.
General Comments
THE SAMSUNG A400 MOBILE PHONE IS WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE PRICE OF $24.99 IN THE UNITED STATES. EVEN WITH THE HEAVY DUTY LITHIUM ION BATTERY ITS WEIGHT IS WELL WITHIN THE REALM OF REASON. I HAVE RATHER LARGE HANDS AND THE BUTTONS ARE CLEARLY LARGE ENOUGH FOR MY USE. THIS PHONE COULD BE IMPROVED IF THEY WOULD ONLY PLACE AN OUSIDE DISPLAY FOR SIGNAL STRENGTH, BATTERY STRENGTH AND CALLER ID ETC.
