I was dubious about insuring with Tesco as most of the reviews said they were terrible, but they were so competitive I took the chance. Not long after insuring someone reversed out of a parking space into me as I drove past. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently Tesco dealt with my claim, arranging a hire car and repairs at my convenience, and for their legal advisers to contact me should I need any assistance (I didn't). Even better, I wasn't given a tiny two-door car as with previous insurers (and expected), but a 2-litre (like mine and as requested) that was so comfortable and high spec that we didn't want to give it back! We told the repairers that, as a car with a tow bar was not available, we needed the car back the next weekend and we were not disappointed. From beginning (apart from the accident) to end, a very pleasant experience.
